About the Design
The tupilaq is a magical creature created through witchcraft, to which you can control and use for murder if you learn to master magic. To make a tupilaq, you collect bones from both animals and people. Then you place the tupilaq in the sea to allow it to swim away and find its way to the victim. But making a tupilaq is risky business. If the victim happens to have greater magical powers than the creator, then the tupilaq will head straight back to its maker and kill them instead.
